The safety and well-being of the students who take part in the National Young Leaders Conference (NYLC) is our number one priority.  Our programs are highly structured and thoroughly evaluated for quality and safety. We will not take our students into areas where we think safety may be in question.  If conditions exist which make it impossible for us to provide a safe program, we will alter the itinerary and route the program to safer areas.

NYLC is directed by a full-time staff of professional educators.  Our staff includes the program director, faculty advisors who serve as educational facilitators and chaperones, security personnel and operations personnel. Students are supervised 24 hours a day, from the moment they arrive, by professional faculty advisors and staff at a ratio of 17-to-1.  Students are accounted for at all times, are required to attend all activities and must stay with the Conference at all times unless written permission is given by a student’s parents.
