Global Young Leaders Conference

The Global Young Leaders Conference (GYLC) is a unique leadership development program that brings together outstanding young people from around the world to build critical leadership skills in a global context.

GYLC offers students the opportunity to learn from and exchange ideas with some of the world's top business leaders, policy officials, lobbyists, journalists, diplomats and academics in the challenging and dynamic environments of Washington, D.C. and New York City; or Beijing, Hangzhou and Shanghai. Recently, Ms. Zoeyah Shaheen, a student at the Global Young Leaders Conference (GYLC) in Europe, gave a presentation to the members of the cabinet of Hyndburn, a local government district in Lancashire, England. Throughout 13 days at GYLC, Ms. Shaheen worked with other global scholars from around the world, discovering different cultures, witnessing how international businesses function and enhancing her leadership skills via presentations and workshops with leading ambassadors, diplomats, lobbyists and journalists.
